PM Modi reviews at crash site

PM Modi along with two ministers landed a the Balasore crash site and reviewed the situation. He was sitting under a tent with the Ministers and saw the Map where the accident situation was explained.

He took stock of the situation under the tent and talked to various agencies who were involved in the rescue work. He was briefed by the officials here and also inspected the bogies involved in the accident.

Hawk-eyed police guards with black spects on guarded him around with the latest weapons and ammunition. The police stopped the drones that were hovering over the PM and the crowd.

The PM greeted the people with folded hands while the Ministers suggested the crowd not to give slogans at the site of the tragedy. Later he is scheduled to visit the local hospitals and talk to the people who were injured in the train crash.

Various teams are doing the rescue operations and also the restoration work is going on. They are supposed to be completed by this night. The train bogies have to be lifted from the tracks.

The PM made a few calls from the tent and gave some directions. He was there for about 45 minutes taking stock of the situation. Earlier in the eighties around 8oo people were killed in a train tragedy.
