BJP is the first enemy of the Telugu people said CPI leader Narayana. Addressing the media he alleged that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is doing the role of a broker between TDP and BJP he criticized.
Chandrababu the TDP chief is using Pawan Kalyan to lure BJP into the alliance he said. The BJP is anti-people and the people of Karnataka have already taught a lesson and gave the power to the Congress he opined.
Pawan should not walk into the trap of Chandrababu he suggested. On the love-hate coalition of BJP and Jana Sena, Narayana added that in Delhi, Pawan displays his influence but as he lands in AP, he starts fighting with the saffron party. “If you’re reluctant and can’t fight, please step aside but do not betray the people,” said Narayana.
Narayana said that they now have a new alliance “option” in Telangana state after the resounding victory of the Congress in Karnataka Assembly polls.
He said that although BRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, is silent on working with the CPI, they would wait a few more days for his response before looking for alternatives.
It may be recalled that the CPI and the CPM extended support to the BRS in the Munugode Assembly by-poll last November.
The BRS had approached Left parties seeking their support in order to defeat BJP candidate Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy.
The BRS won the by-poll and it is widely believed that the support of Left parties, which have a considerable cadre base in the Munugode constituency, played a key role in clinching the verdict.
