Pushkarini and Kalyanakatta at Bangalore

The sacred temple tank, Pushkarini and tonsuring area-mini Kalyanakatta commenced in the premises of Sri Venkateswara temple at Bengaluru by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, the TTD board chief said, the Puhskarini and Kalyanakatta were constructed at Rs.7lakhs for the sake of devotees who could not make it to Tirumala.

Alongside Pushkarini, the TTD Trust Board Chairman also commenced Kalyanakatta, Prasadam Sales Counter, TTD products counter, TTD Seva tickets counter.

Local Advisory Committee Chairman Sri Sampath Ravi Narayan, Vice-Chairman Sri Radhakrishna, Secretary Sri Bhaktavatsala Reddy were also present. Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala, the mass cleaning mission with the voluntary participation of employees of TTD which commenced on April 30 has successfully completed the tenth day in a row on Tuesday.
Addressing the TTD employees and Srivari Seva volunteers in Asthana Mandapam, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy complimented the strong workforce for taking forward the mission with commitment.

“Whenever a situation of crisis arises, all the employees should unite without compromising when it comes to the services of pilgrims and the reputation of the institution”, he added.

He also poured in laurels on Srivari Seva volunteers who have extended their solidarity and took part in the Mass Cleaning Mission with elan.
