KCR launched the new BRS office after breaking a Gummadi Kaya here in front of his office. He did special poojas in the premises.
KCR was given a rousing reception at the Delhi airport by the MPs, MLAs and others. Large number of law makers and public gathered at the new BRS office here today to greet the CM.
Earlier Minister for Roads & Buildings Vemula Prashanth Reddy and Rajya Sabha member J Santosh Kumar who reached Delhi ahead of the Chief Minister, reviewed the arrangements being made for the inauguration.
They performed pooja this morning in the office to be concluded by the BRS Boss K Chandrasekhar Rao. Sudershanayagam, Vaasthu Pooja have been done this morning.
Spread over 20,000 square ft, the building will have the Party President’s office chambers and a conference hall on the first floor. A media center would be opened along with a reception lobby on the ground floor.
The office has been provided with modern amenities and dormitories for the stay of party leaders and workers. The third and fourth floors were built with 20 rooms that include the President’s suite and the working president’s suite.
The party was hitherto functioning from a temporary office at Sardar Patel Marg, which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister in December last year.
