Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Kishan Reddy was admitted to Delhi AIIMS. He was suffering from gastric issues it is reported. He was admitted to the hospital after complaining of chest congestion and slight pain.
He is recovering well and might be discharged from the hospital this evening it is reported. The minister has been admitted to the Cardiac Care Unit of the Cardio Neuro Centre, they said.
Reddy holds the portfolios of tourism and culture. He is also the Minister of Development of the North Eastern Region. The doctors are monitoring the situation and they said that he is doing well.
Kishan is very active and perhaps this is the first time that he was admitted to a Hospital.
He will be taking rest for a few days. Kishan was in Hyderabad where he visited the rain-clogged areas of Secunderabad where a small girl was washed away in the drainage due to heavy rains.
He wanted the officials to put danger signals at the open manholes in the city.
