After nearly six years, the CM will resume duties from the Secretariat. The last time the CM worked from the Secretariat was in March of 2016. After taking over as CM in June 2014, the CM rarely visited the old Secretariat.
The new Secretariat will be launched on April 3o and there is talk that he will be coming to the office on regular basis. Heis close to the secretariat in Begumpet.
After he moved to the newly-constructed Pragathi Bhavan, the CM’s official residence-cum-camp office in Begumpet, in November 2016, he never visited the old Secretariat, which was subsequently demolished in July 2020.
There is negative talk in the political circles that CM KCR has been avoiding the Secretariat in the name of Vaastu and now that the new building is ready as per Vaastu’s stipulations he will be coming to the office.
The insiders are of the opinion that he would give regular time to the lawmakers and also the people in general at the Secretariat from May1. The Ministers will also becoming to the secretariat and there will be time for the visitors also on regular basis it is learnt.
It will take some time for things to get streamlined. With the elections coming closer the CM will try to move close to the people in the state. He has been moving from one district to other in the name of opening collector office buildings and also BRS party office buildings.
