Government of Telangana, with a special focus on inclusive development and capacity building of the SC, ST entrepreneurs, announced T-PRIDE (Telangana State Programme for Rapid Incubation of Dalit Entrepreneurs) scheme extending various incentive to the SC,ST entrepreneurs for providing fiscal and non fiscal incentives to the new enterprises set up by the SC, ST entrepreneurs which includes 35% Investment subsidy(additional 10% to Women Entrepreneurs), Interest subsidy, power cost reimbursement, SGST reimbursement, land cost reimbursement etc.,
Apart from the 50% land cost rebate and preferential allotment, the following concessions are made available to SC/ST entrepreneurs on land cost rebate:
From the date of execution & registration of lease agreement, there will be moratorium period of 2 (two years). After completion of the moratorium period, the balance 75% of land cost will be collected in 8 (eight) annual installments comprising principal and interest components. In this regards, the rate of interest on installments shall be reduced to 4% from 16%.
The rebate on land cost to SC/ST Entrepreneurs is enhanced from Rs. 10 lakhs to 30 lakhs.
Since formation of Telangana, subsidy of Rs.1232 Cr. was sanctioned to 27263 units promoted by SC Entrepreneurs and subsidy of Rs.1408 Cr. was sanctioned to 30935 units promoted by ST Entrepreneurs under T-PRIDE scheme.
On the occasion of Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Bharat Ratna Dr.B.R.Ambedkar, Government of Telangana has released an amount of Rs.562 Cr. towards Industrial Incentives to around 8000 SC and ST entrepreneurs.
Government of Telangana has introduced annual T-PRIDE awards to SC and ST entrepreneurs in recognition of their outstanding performance and contribution in the manufacturing sector. Under the scheme awards were conferred to 11 SC, ST entrepreneurs for the year 2023.
