100 crores from overseas market!

After Pan India, the producers now can bank on the Overseas market. The patronage for mass films has been increasing tremendously in USA markets.

Movies such as Akhanda, Waltair Veerayya, Dhamaka, and Dhamki also ran well at the US Box Office.

Nizam and Visakhapatnam areas are big markets for Telugu cinema, and the overseas market also has grown phenomenally. The Dubai market is also looking up for Movies from the south.

Movies like KGF, Vikram, Akhanda, and Kantara did well in the dubbing areas.

Telugu films previously had an American market of 10 to 12 crores, which has now increased to 15 crores. The complete overseas rights were sold at Rs 22 Cr for a Telugu movie.

The overall overseas deal for Salaar was Rs 70 crores out of which Rs 40 Cr is only for USA.

The extent of Project K and Pushpa 2 is also highly anticipated. ProjectK is at Rs 150 Cr overseas, while Pushpa2 is quoting Rs 100 Cr for the same.

Ram Charan-Shankar’s movie is also tentatively around Rs 40 Cr-50 Cr for overseas rights. In the name of Pan India release the producers are getting good profits and the overseas market is also giving them good scope.

Next comes this OTT release which is like bonus to the cinema producers. All you have to do is to give the right kind of content.
