There was a ruckus in the AP Assembly when the YSRC MLAs and TDP MlAs clashed in the Assembly. The TDP Legislators walked into the well and shouted slogans against speaker Tammineni Sitharam.
They tore the papers and threw them on the speaker. As soon as the House met for the day, TDP members were on their feet demanding that the government withdraw the Government Order which imposed restrictions on public meetings on roads.
They alleged that the YSRCP government was trying to muzzle the voice of the opposition.
Holding placards and raising slogans, the TDP MLAs rushed to the well and later surrounded the Speaker. They tore papers and threw pieces on Speaker.
MLAs from both parties hurled abuses and made allegations against each other over the issue in the Assembly. The MLAs of the TDP looked enthusiastic after winning the MLC elections.
The ruling party was stopping the meeting and gathering of the opposition in the name of GO.1. The police have registered many cases against Lokesh the GS of TDP for conducting meetings and Padayatras.
