There is a talk across the country that the ED is going soft with the leaders involved in the liquor scam.
The latest news is that Magunta the liquor Baron hasn’t yet attended the investigation at the ED office. Magunta Srinivasula Reddy is reportedly in Delhi now but he hasn’t yet attended the investigation.
He was supposed to be at the ED office at 10 Am yesterday but he is nowhere to be seen.
What’s more strange is that Magunta’s legal team hasn’t even appealed to the ED to allot another date for his investigation and to postpone the questioning.
Earlier Kavitha the BRS MLC also said that she will not attend the ED questioning in Delhi as the matter was pending in the Supreme court.
This comes after Magunta’s son, Raghava Reddy is already in custody as he is allegedly involved in the scam. Raghava’s custody has been extended till the 28th of this month.
Manish Sisodia the Deputy CM of Delhi was also arrested by the ED. But nothing is firmed up yet. A lot of speculations are going on in this liquor scam.
AAP has fought the elections from the kickbacks on the liquor scam the media reported. Both the CBI and the ED probing into cases are dragging their feet to book the culprits.
Avinash Reddy the YCP MP and others are buying time and keeping away from the dragnet of the CBI and also ED. Lets hope finally they will nail the real culprits and ounish them.
