There is a talk that the MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi is looking at the so-called growing popularity of the Congress. The Congress party under Revanth Reddy is also craving the support of the AIMIM here in Telangana.
Some latest surveys indicated that Congress is doing better than the TRS and BJP in Telangana. BJP is in the third place.
But there is also a talk that the TRS would take Congress into the fold at the National level in the name of uniting the Opposition. The MIM leaders are of the opinion that because of the lapses in the Governance of the TRS, the BJP is able to grow in the Telangana region.
But the MIM party has been an opportunist and took part in all the Governments by supporting them from the inside and also outside. They will join the party in power. Owaisi does not want the BJP to grow in Telangana. They will continue with TRS if Congress joins the TRS with support from outside.
The picture will be clear after Dasara. MIM was with the TDP also and supported Naidu in the united AP. MIM has taken a lot of help from the TRS across Telangana .
They are planning to go alone or with the Congress, it looks like. But TRS and KCR are firm with the MIM and they need the support of MIM to win the next election .
The BJP in fact has few leaders who have money and muscle in the state. Amit Shah alone cannot turn the ride overnight for the BJP. By the end of this year, the picture will be clear.
