The fire is still being extinguished a the Deccan Mall in Secunderabad. Two fire officers who inhaled smoke yesterday during the rescue operations are in trouble and are taking treatment in a private Hospital.
Now there is no other way but to demolish the Deccan Mall. The building is in a residential area and if this building colla[ses, many other houses will be in trouble.
The residents around this area have been evacuated to avoid getting trapped under the debris. Home Minister Ali has visited the building and Minister Srinivas Yadav is scheduled to visit the area.
Around fifty buildings have been closed and the residents have been shifted. Deccan Mall is in an L shape and with five floors. A technical team from JNTU will be examining the building for demolition.
Three to four workers are still trapped in the building. Three mobile locations are located in the building. Police are of the opinion that three workers could have been dead in the fire.
Vaseem ,Junaid,Jaheer and another person are missing it is reported. The owner of the building is not giving proper information to the police and also the media.
He is somewhat in a state of shock. The police are trying to ascertain the location and topography of the buildings. The condition of the fire engine driver is very critical.
Union Minister Kishan Reddy is also scheduled to visit the area.
