The YSR Congress government in Andhra Pradesh has announced that it will not allow any political rallies to be held on the roads of the state. This decision was taken in order to avoid traffic congestion and public inconvenience during the election season.
But the BJP and the TDP allege that the YSRC was rattled by the public support of TDP meetings. They want to see that the Lokesh Pada Yatra and the Pawan Yatra with Varahi ratham is stalled in the coming days.
The government also stated that any political party or organization wanting to hold a rally must obtain permission from the local police and also obtain the necessary permission from the local civic authorities.
The opposition questioned that if Babu has stopped the Padayatra of Jagan during the TDP, days the YSRC would not have come to power at all. This is undemocratic they opined.
The government also declared that the police reserves the right to refuse permission for any such rally if it is deemed to be disruptive or to cause public inconvenience.
There are also allegations that the YSRC has created the stampede in the TDP rallies so that they can stop them. It has to be seen what is going to happen to the rallies of Jana Sena and the padayatra of Lokesh in the near future.
All said and done it is crystal clear that the popularity of TDP and Chandrababu is growing. If Janasena joins the TDP for the coming elections, the YSRC will have a tough time in the coming elections.
The BJP on the other hand is saying that they are with the Jana Sena and did not spell out the strategy for the alliance with the TDP.
