AV Dharma Reddy resumed charge as TTD Executive Officer on Monday. He has taken over the charges from Sri Anil Kumar Singhal at Tirumala temple.
It may be mentioned that Sri AK Singhal has taken charges as EO(FAC) on December 23 as Sri AV Dharma Reddy was on leave for 12days.
On the other hand the distribution of Annaprasadam has commenced in Sri Kodanda Ramalayam at Vontimitta on Sunday.
After performing Puja to Sri Rama and Sri Lakshmi Devi portraits in the new kitchen hall, Vishwaksena Puja and Punyahavachanam were performed.
Henceforth Annaprasadam will be served to devotees by 12 noon in the hall.One of the Chief Priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopal Dikshitulu denied the rumours over the closure of the Hill Shrine for six months as propagated in a few media platforms and affirmed that the Darshan of Mula Virat remains as usual in view of Gold plating works of Anandanilaya Gopuram.
Explaining the factual position on the issue Sri Venugopal Dikshitulu cleared that TTD board had decided to take up gold plating works of Ananda Nilaya Gopuram from March 1 in 2023 and will be completed within six months.
He said a week ahead of the commencement of the works certain Agama practices like(Balalayam) will be taken up by setting up a temporary (Daru) idol.
