Aadi in Telugu and Akshay Kumar in Hindi have got maximum releases and they are big failures last year. They could not get any hits in 2022.
It is not normal for a hero to have more than two to three releases in a calendar year.
But hero Aadi Sai Kumar and Akshay have become the heros with the highest number of releases in 2022. But most of the movies failed at the box office.
Aadi started the year with Atithi Devo Bhava in January, a romantic film with a novel theme exploring monophobia. His next release was the crime action thriller, Black. The film was released in May. Aadi tried to establish himself as a mass hero in the cop drama, Tees Maar Khan. The film which was released in August was in the news for the skin show by Payal Rajput. He then made a comeback to the romantic comedy genre with Crazy Fellow released in October. Aadi’s final film in 2022 was Top Gear released this week. Unfortunately, none of the films worked at the box office.
Similarly, in Bollywood, Akshay Kumar became the hero with the highest number of releases in 2022. And like in the case of Aadi, all the films turned out to be disasters.
Now the taste of the audience has changed and both Akki Baba and Adi Babu must learn to cater to the needs of the public. They must chose the right directors and better films for the future.
