Now RFC and Hyderabad are the c/o address for all the movies. Majority of the movie are happening in Hyderabad and people from Mumbai and Chennai are coming to RFC for everything.
Kamal Haasan expressed his disappointment over the fact that Hyderabad took away the pride of Chennai. He remembered how Chennai was considered to be the hub of South Indian cinema.
He said, “Hyderabad has taken away the pride of Chennai being a national film-making center. Bombay is a Hindi film-making center but Chennai was a national film making center, AVM made films in all languages.
Baahubali sets are still being used in RFC by many serial and film makers. RRR was also extensively shot by Rajamouli in RFC in Hyderabad. The Rangasthalam sets were also used by other movies makers with some changes.
The sets of Pushpa one are being used for Pushpa two in Maredumilli forests of Andhra Pradesh. So the Telugu states and the RFC are becoming popular across the world.
Apart from RFC, Annapurna studios is also doing well. Now Allu Studios is also coming into prominence. Some people are using Sarathi studios also which has been there since decades.
” As Kamal said everyone is coming to Hyderabad to shoot their movies in Ramoji Film City and to use other readily available infra in the city. Even the biggest Bollywood movies are shot in RFC these days.
