Since the launch of Telangana movement, TRS Supremo and Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao has been practicing moulding the ideas into aspirations to achieve desirable results, Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar said that ” We are implementing the Green India Challenge programme by taking inspiration from CM KCR’s spirit”.
On the occasion of his birthday, Santhosh Kumar planted saplings in the Mulugu campus of Mulugu Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI) today. The MP said that it is a big pleasure to celebrate birthdays by planting saplings among hundreds of students studying in the Forest College.
Santosh Kumar said that CM KCR introduced Haritha Haram aiming to promote the Telangana state, which was a barren area in the erstwhile United Andhra Pradesh, as a Green state and he launched Green India Challenge from taking the Chief Minister’s inspiration.
Santosh Kumar said that it is big pleasure that the Green India Challenge, launched five years ago, has reached all the states and all communities across the country. He said that the ‘ Green ‘ results are visible wherever he visited.
It is a proud moment that Telugu people living abroad are also planting saplings by taking inspiration from Green India Challenge. The Green India Challenge registered its first success by creating an awareness on planting saplings, Santosh Kumar said.
The MP said that ” We succeeded to bring the Green India Challenge closer to all communities because we strongly believe true success lies in working hard by executing the ideas perfectly “. Santosh said that the time has come to take up the green movement across the country like Haritaharam and Green India Challenge in Telangana. Santosh Kumar thanked everyone who voluntarily participated in the Green India Challenge movement so far.
