KTR the Minister for IT and Industries opined that they are not greater than NTR and Indira Gandhi. He was talking at a seminar on media in Telangana.
He reminded us that even Indira Gandhi and also NTR lost the elections. Most of the Paper managements were against the TRS he explained. Dynasty can be just an entry point for politics he said.
But one cannot win all the time with the dynasty he explained. People will reject you if you are not worthy of getting elected he said. Personal attacks are going on even today in the name of journalism he stated.
He agreed that in Siricilla he was elected with great difficulty. Being in politics is not an easy task he reminded. All the Telangana journalists helped us in the formation of Telangana and getting statehood for Telangana he said.
All of them cant survive as politicians he said. Surviving in the political arena is not easy he stated. Media has a lot of facilities when compared to other states he said.
Journalists have also got health cards he reminded. KCR has done a lot and wants to do something more he said.
The people must differentiate between news and views he suggested. Only some categories of people are following the media and the electronic media is glorifying small things he opined.
We have to dig deep into the news to find out what is real and what is exaggerated he said. The backbone of the media has collapsed he opined.
The media has become Modi he said. Modi talks about Man ki Baat, but he must hear the Jan ki Baat he suggested.
