All the 298 polling stations are having long lines of people who have come for voting this morning. In the first round, around twelve percent to fourteen percent of voting was registered.

Both state and central police are monitoring the situation at the polling booths. The BJP local leaders are driving away outsiders who are camping in some villages.

Some nonlocal BJP and TRS groups clashed here in the Chandur segment. Barring a few disturbances here and there the polling is going on peacefully here in Munugode.

The police removed some tents which were very close to the polling booths as there were complaints that the locals were influencing the voters.

Workers were seen wearing pink and red kanduvas around their necks to influence voters coming to the polling booths. Candidates Kusukuntla and Rajgopal were seen going around the polling booths, inspecting the pattern of the voting here in Munugode.

BJP and TRS groups clashed in Marrigudem on the presence of nonlocals near the polling booths. Some outsiders were caught distributing money in Yadadri.

The ladies also turned out in large numbers in the early hours.
