As part of the Police Commemoration Day events, Cyberabad Police has organized a 10 K Cycle Rally on 29th Oct along with SCSC & Hyderabad Cyclists group.
The rally was flagged off by Smt. DCP Shilpavalli along with other senior police officials at Cyberabad CP Office, Gachibowli. Close to 100 Cycling enthusiasts have participated in the rally, besides senior police officials. Smt. DCP Shilpavalli has actively participated in the rally, by joining the cycling participants and completed 10 KMs ride successfully – starting from Cyberabad Police Commissioner office to HCU Main gate and return to the starting point.
After the rally, she thanked Mr Ravinder Nandanuri of HCG and all the Hyderabad Cyclists Group participants and other enthusiasts.
Smt. DCP Madhapur Shilpavalli appreciated one cyclist, Mr Narendar Rao, who is at the age of 68, cycles every day for 50 KMs, who also has participated in today’s rally. The youngest cyclist was Mr Pranav, who has completed 7 KMs with all his enthusiasm while he took all precautions of a regular cyclist by wearing a proper gear.
Other cycling enthusiasts have shared their success stories and DCP Smt. Shilpavalli said that it is very important for all the citizens to embrace any sport to lead an active, healthy life to beat the side affects of sedentary life style.
Madhapur DCP Smt. Shilpavalli, SHO Raidurgam M Mahesh, Joint Secretaries of SCSC, I Raghu & Srinivas, SHO Traffic – Madhapur & Gachibowli, Srinath & Naveen besides other officials have participated in the event.
