Puri Jagannath the Liger director has warned the agitating distributors that he will not pay them for the losses. Puri said that the people who approach him properly will be paid according to the availability of funds.
He is yet to collect the money from the people who are due to pay him. Puri opined that Thadani was a good distributor and that the distributors from Tollywood are not that sincere.
Puri said that he was not really responsible for the losses, but he was ready to pay the distributors to the extent possible. He clarified that payment will not be made to the people who were trying to threaten him.
Puri who is in Goa after vacating the Mumbai office is trying to make a movie with his son Akash Puri. There are producers who are willing to do movies with him but want Charmee to be kept away from the production.
Charmees influence has spoiled the ability of Puri the industry says. Meanwhile, there is a talk that Vijay has returned the remuneration. Both Puri and Vijay lost their reputation after the Liger release.
Now both are waiting for a hit. It is easy to make a comeback for Vijay with one movie or the other. But it is difficult for the director Puri Jagannath.
Both Puri and his Akash Puri are now doing well career wise.
