There is a talk of KTR being promoted as the CM of Telangana again. This is the second time that the Minister for Tourism Srinivas Goud raised the point during the Munugode election.
Earlier CM KCR warned TRSLP leaders that if anyone raised this issue, he would “hit them to the ground”, if anyone raised this issue after former health minister Etela Rajender created a stir by making public statements that Rama Rao will be the next CM and that he had all the qualities to become CM.
KTR several times clarified that KCR would be the CM for next three terms and that he was not an aspirant for the post.
KCR also talked about his health and would live for another twenty years. So there was no question of transfering the power.
Right now KCR is busy with BRS in Delhi and is unable to get the required support push for the so called National party.
Even MIM is planning to move away from the KCR, they say. Kavitha is bogged down with the liqour scam and she trying her level best to wriggle out of it.
Munugode election is an acid test for TRS and the leadership of KCR.
