The garlands made of a variety of dry seeds remained as a special attraction during the Snapana Tirumanjanam of Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi held at Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala temple as a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams.
The grandeur of the Snapana Tirumanjanam enhanced when the deities were decked with a variety garland as soon as the special abhishekam with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, and turmeric and sandal paste rendered. The garlands included dried grapes, betel leaves, turmeric sticks, Lotus seeds, Tulasi seeds, Areca nut (Vakka) held here, providing a delightful feast to the eyes of devotees who had watched the live telecast on SVBC.
Amidst the chanting of Veda mantras the utsava idols of Sri Malayappa and his consorts were rendered Snapanam by Kankana Bhattar Sri Govindacharyulu at the Ranganayakula Mandapam.
The Ranganayakula Mandapam was decked with a variety of traditional flowers, cut flowers, Australian Oranges, grape bunches. The Phala-Pushpa Mandapam remained as a cynosure during the fete.
