Bharosa was inaugurated on 15.10.2018, with 4 staff, Clinical Psychotherapist, Legal counsellor, Social counsellor and Receptionist staff.
The Center is catering to the needs of the general people, the Domestic Violence Cases, POSCO Cases, Rape Cases, Family Counselling, Minor Counselling.
Further, the Counselling Center has been helping the Senior -Citizens with their family problems, Domestic Violence, harassment, careless attitude of their children towards them. Several cases of the I.T Employees were also attended.
The Bharosa Cyberabad Counselling Center has been conducting counselling with the support of Alcoholic Anonymous with the Alcohol addicted persons and their families.
Bharosa Cyberabad received a direct walk in petition from a victim woman, working as a primary school Teacher, from Gachibowli P.S limits requested Bharosa to conduct counselling for her husband who was addicted to alcohol and because of this addiction he started neglecting his wife and son, and there was a lot of verbal abuse and physical harrassment to petitioner, and due to this addiction respondent lost his physical health and got terminated from his duties, but there was no change in his behaviour.
On petitioner’s request Bharosa team has conducted two counselling sessions to respondent and counselled him that, how his addiction towards alcohol is impacting on his family life, and also explained him when he consumes alcohol, how his mental health status will change, and it is leaving a very bad impact on their child who his aged about 8yrs and the child was moving away from the father because of his behaviour.
After explaining about all these negative issues, which his family is undergoing because of respondent’s addiction, respondent has regretted and requested his wife (petitioner ) to give him a chance, so that he can change and can prove to petitioner.
At present respondent consuming alcohol very occasionally and he joined in a new job and re-started their new life and petitioner is very happy after the Bharosa Cyberabad support.
The Bharosa Cyberabad Counselling Center has every weekend a session with the Alcoholic Anonymous for the Alcohol addicted respondents and by this De-addiction programmes, several families have happily re-united with their families and leading a normal life.
