As Mahesh Babu’s elder brother Ramesh Babu is no more, Mahesh Babu lit the funeral pyre and bid the last goodbye to his mother Indira at the Mahaprasthanam premises.
Indira’s last rites were performed at Maha Prasthanam. Her mortal remains were placed at Padmalaya Studios so that everyone will pay their respects.
Her Antima Yatra was held from the studios to the last rites site.
Clad in white lungi and white shirt Mahesh Babu carried the pot and lit the pyre. Galla Jaydev was by his side helping him while carrying pot.
The Ghattamaneni family suffered a big shock with the passing away of Indira Devi. Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara cried her heart out and Mahesh Babu consoled her.
The Superstar not only controlled himself, but he also consoled his daughter, crying for her grandmother.
The members of the Tollywood industry took to social media to condole her death and send support to the family. The likes of Vijay Devarakonda, Raghavendra Rao ,Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Rana Daggubati, Lakshmi Manchu, Mohan Babu, Trivikram Srinivas,Thaman and others visited the residence and met the family members.
