Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said that the then icon of Telangana’s Armed Struggle Chityala (Chakali) Ailamma is a symbol of Bahujan’s, oppressed sections self-respect.
CM KCR paid glorious tributes on the occasion of Ailamma birth anniversary (September 26).
In the backdrop of Telangana National Integration Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Chief Minister remembered Ailamma’s services and her bravery during the Telangana armed struggle which inspired the democratic struggles.
CM KCR said that the audacity and courage displayed by Ailamma during Telangana’s armed struggle for land, food and liberation from slavery exhibited the Telangana’s existence and self-respect.
Chief Minister said that Ailamma’s life is the testimony of Telangana soil has the fighting spirit.
CM KCR said the State Government is striving hard for the the rights of Telangana people with the spirit of Ailamma’s self-respect struggle for rights.
Chief Minister said that the Government is commemorating the sacrifices of all sections by organizing the official birth and death anniversary Programme s of Ailamma.
