Except for Mahesh Babu, none of the star heroes changed their DP to the Indian tricolour flag. None of Ram Charan, NTR, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, and Ravi Teja changed their DP.
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi changed the display picture (DP) of his social media pages to the national flag of India. He also urged all the citizens to use ‘Tiranga’ as their social media DP between August 2 and August 15 as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
A mass singing program of the Jana Gana Mana will also be done across the nation at eleven thirty AM.
Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn supported Modi’s campaign and changed their DP to the Indian flag. KGF star Yash and cricketer Virat Kohli are also some of the celebs who changed their DP to promote the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
There is still time and let’s hope some other Telugu stars will change the DP. Many of them across the Nation have hoisted the national flags on their buildings.
Some of them have displayed it on bicycles, two-wheelers and also four-wheelers. Overall Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav has been a great success. Many lawmakers have distributed the tricolour flags free of cost to the citizens.
Children also enjoyed the flags by running around with them.
