As per the directions of Honourable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao garu to celebrate “Swatantra Bharatha Vajrotsava Dwi Saptaham” for two weeks all over the state, the power utilities have organized the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of 75th Independence Day at Hyderabad today, in a grand way.
After leading a huge rally of electricity employees holding the tri-colour national flags reflecting the patriotic spirit at Hyderabad today, Sri D.Prabhakar Rao garu, CMD/TSGENCO & TSTRANSCO, hoisted the national flag on the occasion of diamond jubilee celebrations of 75th Independence Day of the country, in the presence of Sri G. Raghuma Reddy, CMD/TSSPDCL, Sri A.Gopal Rao, CMD/TSNPDCL.
As per the call given by Honble Chief Minister, the CMD/TSGENCO & TSTRANSCO has directed all electricity officials to conduct similar programmes in a befitting manner in all electricity offices throughout the state. CMD also appealed to all employees to take part actively during the 15 days Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of 75th Independence Day. He emphasized the need to educate the new generations about the freedom fighters, their sacrifices and the fruits of the national freedom struggle presently enjoyed in the country.
Speaking on this occasion, CMD/TSGENCO & TSTRANSCO stated that TS Power Utilities have been providing uninterrupted and reliable power on 24×7 basis to all categories of consumers from the last 8 years. Further CMD/TSGENCO & TSTRANSCO along with CMD/TSSPDCL & CMD/TSNPDCL, reviewed the performance of two Distribution Companies i.e. TSSPDCL & TSNPDCL, for further strengthening of system improvement measures and improving internal efficiency aspects.
