Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy is a business tycoon who has huge funds to spend for the byelection in Munugode. The TRS only can match BJP in spending for the election.
Congress cannot match the money power of BJP and TRS here. Congress has internal bickering which would mar the chances. The TRS also has trouble brewing within the party, but KCR and Minister Jagdish Reddy are trying to convince the party leaders and cadres to the extent possible.
Rajgopal Reddy is a clear man in the race as of now.
There is a talk that TRS Chief KCR does not want to give the BJP an edge over Munugode and in this context, there is a chance he might dissolve the assembly and go for fresh polls.
Public opinion is also divided in the constituency and there is no clear-cut edge for the BJP or the TRS. But the BJP is going ahead with all the engines in full throttle against the TRS.
But the TRS boss KCR is holding his horses for the time being. We do not know what is going to be his decision. Money is not going to be an issue for the ruling party as such.
The administration will however help the TRS here in Munugode. The BJP cadres are already combing the constituency for a long time. The old guard Jithendar Reddy will be the incharge it is reported.
