The offer of buy one, get one free offer of the cinema tickets in AP failed. There are no people coming to theatres these days to see the movies. The situation in Telangana is also pathetic.
People are not coming out to see the new movies like the earlier times. The rate of tickets and the prices of the snacks is said to be one of the reasons for people not coming out.
In the name of the cost of production and also the remuneration of the heroes and directors, the ticket rates are being jacked up by the exhibitors. They made tonnes of money and now people are almost banning the theatres.
Now the one plus on offer for the tickets in AP also failed. The theatre owners are not getting the power bills also and they are forced to close them.
There is no other way but to reduce the ticket rates in the Telugu states and keep them at the lowest price, apart from providing the snacks at a reasonable rate.
Pop Corn costs around Rs 250 in multiplex which hundred times higher. Now they are trying to stop the shooting from the first of August. But big producers are against this.
We have to see where this is leading to.
