Kanganmaa Ranaut the controversial and outspoken leading lady is all set to turn into Indira Gandhi for the movie Emergency. The first look of the film shows Kangana in the form of Indira Gandhi and it suits her very well.
The film is all set to make ripples in the industry. Earlier she has done the role of Jayalalithaa as Amma and the movie did Ok business.
Now she is doing the role of Indira Gandhi maybe for the sake of the BJP to expose the misdeeds of the Emergency period.
She had all the guts to fight against the former Maha Government and talked against Uddhav Thackeray and also Sanjay Raut. The centre gave her protection.
The Sena Government demolished her balcony in Mumbai. But she just ignored all that and forged forward.
It looks like the film deals with the situations that led Indira to declare an emergency in India and the aftermath of that decision.
Renu Pitti is bankrolling the project along with Kangana. Kangana is producing movies under Manikarnika films.
