BJP is an expert in using Media across the country. When Venkaiah was active in state politics, one media friend suggested him to start a TV channel called Lotus.
But Venkaiah said no to that and suggested the BJP use all the Channels in an effective manner with the same funds. Confining to own a channel is not right he opined.
Now at the National Executive meet they decided that Social Media and also WhatApp must be used extensively to propagate the BJP in Telangana.
Some leaders in fact were branded as media tigers in Telangana. There are more than thirty-five thousand booths for the 119 seats in Telangana. The workers in the respective constituencies will be guided by the WhatsApp groups.
But all this is not new to the TRS working President KTR. They also have a system where they are in touch with the TRS workers at the grass-root level.
The BJP might enter the double-digit figure this time in the state but it is not easy to come to power. The Congress in fact is doing better when compared to BJP, but people like Jagga Reddy are going against the leadership here.
Leaders like Etela and Vishweshwar Reddy are being set to poach the leaders from other parties. We have to see how far they would succeed in the coming days.
