The Income of Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam is going up. The Lord has been offered six crore on a single day which is a record in the history of the TTD.
This is the first time the offering by the pilgrims has reached six crore. The rush to TTD is going up by the day and it is nearly reaching a lakh per day.
But the amenities are not going up to the mark. The free food offered to the pilgrims is just below quality. In fact, the food offered at Padmavathi Temple is better than that of the TTD.
The allocation of rooms is yet to be streamlined. No one knows what changes the next day. Nothing per permanent on the TTD. The TTD is slowly going away from the charity and religious mode.
It is just going commercial. Room rates have been hiked, Laddu rates have been hiked. The food is also very costly in the hotels on Tirumala. Dharma Reddy and Subba Reddy are ruling the TTD.
If you have money everything will be arranged at the Lord Venkateshwara. The quality of free prasadam being distributed inside the Temple after the darshan has to be improved.
