More than forty MLAs are revolting against the Shiv Sena leadership in Maharashtra. Some MLAs said that it was due to the dictatorial attitude of the leader Sanjay Raut and the family rule of Thackerays.
The BJP can raise the demand for a floor test in the Assembly in such a scenario. “We have been openly saying there is massive unrest within MVA,” said a senior BJP functionary.
The disgruntled MLAs are staying in a resort in Gawhati it is reported. They are getting ready to claim as a different political entity and would support the leadership of the BJP.
