Suresh Babu is focusing on propagating VR technology as well as advanced Unreal Engine software technology in Hyderabad if reports are to be believed.
This technology was already used to create realistic environments for films like Pushpa and also for Bheemla Naayak’s title-song video.
There is a talk that Rana the son of Suresh pushed the same technology for Vikram movie with the help of Kamal Hassan who is the producer.
The experiment yielded good results and Vikram is a super-duper hit. It costs very less and we can gel the green mat shots with the background that is required or dreamt of by the director.
The Chennai-based studios owned by a couple of cinematographers have done the job. And now, Suresh is said to have purchased ten workstations that cost nearly a crore and is experimenting with this technology.
Now everything related to a film will be shot with actors performing in front of a green mat only. All the backgrounds will be realistically created in Unreal Engine.
The actors need not travel to the locales for the shootings. They need not go to the forests or the water bodies and take the risk. The real engines will create whatever you want.
