The BJP leaders in Telugu states are dreaming of power in the state. But how far is the central leadership eager to get power in the states is the question.
The priority for Shah and Modi Jodi is to come back to power at the centre.
Now, LOP Chandrababu is willing to climb down a few steps for the BJP. The TDP is ready to offer as many as 13 Lok Sabha seats, out of 25, to the BJP, if the latter agrees to the alliance.
But the TRS is going against the BJP here in Telangana. The TRS wants both MP and MLA seats. KCR is rising the ambition of going into National politics.
This shows that the BJP is bothered about the Lok Saba seats rather than the MLA seats. The local leaders are bothered about the state politics, but the centre wants to retain its power at the Centre.
Chandrababu’s priority is now to come to power in Andhra Pradesh and not the Centre. Babu knows that BJP’s interest is to win the general elections at the Centre and not the state.
The TDP is of the view that the BJP would help the TDP come to power in the state – a quid pro quo gesture.
But the BJP has not given any response to the TDP’s offer. The state party leaders are dead against making any friendship with Naidu again.
