As a part of 3-day official study tour to the State of Tamil Nadu, Chairman Dr. Vakulabarnam Krishna Mohan Rao along with the Members Ch. Upendra, SubhPradh Patel Nooli, K.Kishore Goud of Telangana State Commission for Backward Classes, called on Thiru MK. Stalin, Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu today at his Office and appraised the intent, content and purpose (Caste Data Enumeration to be undertaken in TS and Legal-Glitch free implementation of 69% reservation for the BCs) behind the Study Tour.
Chairman and the accompanying team members have expressed their deep apprecition about the initiatives and welfare measures undertaken by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu under Thiru MK. Stalin as regards to the Backward Communities in the State.
The Study Team led by Dr. Rao felicitated the Honourable Chief Minister, Thiru MK. Stalin.
It held a very detailed and compassed discussion with regard to Sattanathan, Ambasankar and Janarthanam with the Chairman Thiru Justice(Retd) Thanikachalam and Officials of TN Backward Classes Commission understanding the methodology and parameters adopted while formulating the Survey Design and Instruments over a period of time which set the exact format for withstanding the legal scrutiny of its recommendations and implementation processes.
In this context, Dr. Rao and the Team called on Thiru Raja Kannappan, Honourable Minister for Backward Classes, Govt. of Tamil Nadu. The visiting delegation also met Thiru Karthik IAS, Principal Secretary, Dept. of Backward Classes Welfare, Govt. of Tamil Nadu and Mrs.Amudha IAS, Principal Secretary, Dept. of Panchayat Raj, Govt. of Tamil Nadu and ascertained the technical information about the implementation of 69% reservation and local body reservations for BCs in the State.
Visiting Chairman along with the Members and Officials paid rich tributes to Thiru EV. Rama Swamy Naicker at the Memorial Site who fought for the rights and reservations for the Backward Communities.
Chairman Dr. Krishna Mohan Rao and the Team conveyed their gratitude to the TN BC Commission and other Officials for extending the required cooperation in this Study which has immensely benefited their understanding.
