Director Koratala had Mahesh Babu in mind for the movie Acharya in the character of Siddha. But before Koratala taled to Mahesh, Chiranjeevi suggested the name of Charan.
Koratala did not have Chiranjeevi in his mind at all. He had charan and Mahesh in mind for the movie. But Chiranjeevi took the movie into his grip and promoted himself along with his son.
Finally, the result is that movie is a disaster, but Mahesh with his good luck got saved himself from the drubbing. Mahesh earlier refused the bite the bullet for Pushpa.
It would not have suited him. Sukumar tried Mahesh for the Pushpa story. Right now Mahesh is busy with Sarkaru Vari Paata. As Acharya has become a disaster, Sarkaru Vari Pata will become a hit it looks like.
Now Mahesh can work out for the promotion of the movie right away as Acharya has been adjudged as a flop. It is very difficult for Acharya to run for the coming ten days.
Some movie analysts have already proclaimed that Acharya would be a dud.
