Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. BR Ambedkar at Pragati Bhavan on Thursday on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the architect of the Constitution of India and Bharat Ratna Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s 131st birth anniversary.
Former Minister Motkupalli Narsimhulu, MP Joginapalli Santosh Kumar, MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Naveen Rao, Pochampally Srinivas Reddy, MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Civil Supplies Corporation Chairman Mareddy Srinivas Reddy, CM Secretary Rajashekhar Reddy, CM OSD Deshapathi Srinivas and TRS General Secretary Ravula Sravan Kumar Reddy, CMO officials, PROs and others attended the programme.
All the political parties in the states also have paid floral tributes to the architect of the constitution. Many educational institutions also have observed the Jayanthi of Dr Ambedkar.
Some seminars were also conducted in honour of Dr Aambedkar here in Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana.
