111Go will be scrapped assures KCR

The 111 GO which stops the owners from using the lands for construction and other purposes will be scrapped soon assured the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao.

He was making the Budget speech here in Assembly. He said that there was no need of the two water bodies of the City Hyderabad that is Gandipet and Osamnasagar as we are able to draw water from Godavari and Krishna rivers for the city consumption.

The water issues will be resolved on permanent basis he explained. Now the GO for saving the water bodies has become irrelevant he opined. The GO will be scrapped he assured.

Around one lakh and thirty thousand acres of land is under the GO he pointed out.

The Boodhan lands will also be protected he said. Eighty three villages are affected by the GO he said. At the same time the endowment lands will also be protected he said.

At the same time CM KCR assured that the students who returned from Ukraine due to war will be absorbed into the system here and the education will be free for them.

The issues pertaining to the Dharani portal will also be resovled he assured the members. The Government of AP and Telangana will use the waters of Krishna and Godavari he explained.

The VROs who were removed will be adjusted into the irrigation department he stated. Later the CM introduced the Telangana appropiration bill and it was passed.
