Telangana Assembly Speaker has turned down the request of the BJP MLAs and they were not allowed to participate in the Assembly proceedings.
The MLAs were suspended for the entire budget session. Today Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy clarified that as they were under suspension the BJP MLAs do not have permission to talk at the media point also.
They had no other option but to go to the BJP headquarters. The MLAs met the speaker on the directions of the High Court, but they were not allowed to participate in the session.
So we can say that Etela has failed in grilling the Government and his first session was as a BJP MLA is a flop. The TRS Government has succeeded in containing Etela and others for the Budget session.
However political Pandits are of the opinion that it was a one-sided session and this is not right for the ruling party. The MLAs were disappointed at the attitude of the TRS Government and the speaker.
