TRS MPs K Kesava Rao, J Santosh Kumar, Suresh Reddy and others today moved a privilege petition against Prime Minister Modi for talking against the division of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh.
Prime Minister Modi stated in the parliament that the Congress party was responsible for the ongoing issues between the Telangana and AP Government.
Modi stated that the way Congress closed the doors of parliament and divided the states without any discussions was completely wrong and that was the reason Congress miserably lost in both the states.
The TRS leaders found fault with the statement of PM Modi and said that it is nothing but insulting the people of Telangana. The privilege motion was given by the MPs in Rajya Sabha.
Meanwhile, the TRS leaders and cadres staged dharnas and protest rallies across the state. PM effigies were also burnt across the state protesting against the statement of Modi in the parliament.
