Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has expressed deep shock and anguish at the passing away of the legendary singer Bharat Ratna Latha Mangeshkar ji.
The Governor stated that she was deeply saddened at the unfortunate demise of Latha Mangeshkar.
Paying rich tributes to the memory of the legendary singer, the Governor said that Latha Mangeshkar, who is known as the Nightingale of India, has immortalised hundreds of songs with her divine voice.
She had mesmerized generations of people with her magical voice.
“Her contribution to the Indian cinema and the Nation will be remembered forever,” Dr. Tamilisai added.
The Governor expressed her deep condolences to the members of the bereaved family and her millions of fans all over the globe.
