Akhanda has brought the train of the Telugu film Industry onto the rails. Tollywood banked on the power of Balakrishna and Boyapati and it proved to be right.
The theatres have opened and it continued for the second movie called Pushpa of Arjun and Sukumar. Both are different kinds of movies and they are made very well suiting the commercial needs of the cinema audience in General.
Akhanda minted money from the Telugu audience and is being remade in Hindi. Pushpa has been released in five languages and it has collected around Rs two hundred and fifty crore so far.
The second part is due next year. It will be on the OTT also next year. it is all a feel-good factor in the film industry. All the heroes are busy with some film or the other.
The movies for OTT, the films in the form of web series are going on. Despite the talk of the third wave so on and so forth the people are coming to the theatres.
That is the confidence that Akhanda has instilled in the cine-goers mind. Many movies are in the pipeline to get released. The films are being released in a slow and phased manner one after the other.
