Cyberabad CP Stephen Raveendra, pays Rich Tributes to Mahatma Gandhi

  • Rich tributes were paid to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhiji by Commissioner Of Police, Cyberabad Stephen Raveendra, IPS., on the occasion of his 152nd birth anniversary, which is also being observed as the Telangana State Function.
  • Cyberabad CP along with the other officers garlanded the portrait of Mahatma Gandhiji, paid floral tributes and observed silence in respect of the Father of the nation Bapuji at conference hall in Cyberabad CP office.
  • Addressing on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, CP said, Celebrating Mahatma Gandhiji Birth anniversary as ‘Telangana State function’ was fitting tribute to the great personality.
  • “Gandhi Jayanti which we celebrate on 2nd October, is also celebrated as Non-Violence day internationally across the globe after United Nations declaration.
  • There has been a significant contribution of Gandhi ji in every important movement in history be it pertaining to human rights, or the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa.

The participants were Cyberabad CAR Hqtrs ADCP Manikraj, SB ADCP Ravi Kumar,CSW ADCP Venkat Reddy, SCSC General Secretary Krishna Yedula, ACP Surender Rao, ACP Mattiah, ACP Krishna, Inspectors, RIs and other staff were present on the occasion.
