KT Rama Rao, Minister for MA&UD, Industries & IT E&C, Government of Telangana has called on Sri Ashwini Vaishnaw ji, Union Minister for Communication, Electronics &IT, Railways today in Rail Bhawan, New Delhi.
Points of the meeting and representations.
1.Divitipally to be considered under EMC-2.0 (Electronics Manufacturing Clusters) scheme for energy storage solutions and extend support. 450 acres land identified at Dundigal for focus on Consumer Electronics Manufacturing
2.Release payments as per initial MoU signed with DoT/USOF/BBNL (Department of Telecommunications, Universal Service Obligation fund, Bharat Broadband Network Limited) under the implementation of Bharat Net Phase -II project under T Fiber for connecting Gram panchayats. Request to handover NOFN (National Optical Fiber Network) phase I network in the state to T -Fiber. Requested for additional funding of 1200 crores to the project for connecting villages (habitations) from Gram Panchayats up to households.
3.ITIR (Information Technology Investment Region) Project – from the past 6 years Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana has written letters to Union government to restore ITIR scheme which will build tremendous momentum in IT sector growth.
KTR was in Delhi to participate in the Shilanyas program for the construction of TRS Bhavan in Delhi. CM KCR and many other lawmakers were in Delhi to attend the Program Yesterday.
