Musharraf Faruqui, I.A.S at Nirmal planted saplings under Green India Challenge, initiated/lead by RS MP Joginpally Santosh Kumar. Collector thanked MP for his initiation of GIC.
He said that he planted saplings in response to the challenge given by The Dy High commissioner Andrew Flemming Nirmal Collector Musharraf Ali Faruqui nominated, collector Nizamabad , collector manchiryal and collector Adilabad to continue this green project .
He asked them to take up the challenge at the earliest and plant saplings as the planet needs more trees. He also called upon all the other people whether nominated by him or not to participate in the record breaking and fantastic initiative of the Green India Challenge.
The GIC is getting huge response from all quarters of the society and so far crores of saplings have been planted. Joginapally says that he has got inspiration from the Haritha Haram program was designed by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao .
So far some forests also have been recreated under these programs. This is one way of reducing Global warming. Many celebrities from Bollywood and also Tollywood have also planted saplings under the GIC.
