Telangana CM KCR has unfurled the tri-colour at the historic Golconda Fort on the occasion of 75th Independence Day Celebrations.
KCR was accompanied by CS Somesh Kumar and DGP Mahendar Reddy.
Addressing on the occasion, CM KCR hailed the soldiers and other leaders who sacrificed their lives in achieving the freedom of the Country.
CM KCR said that Telangana state has achieved first place in terms of the growth rate in the country and added that it is an indication of the development of the state. KCR said it was possible because of the transparency in the administration and proper economic measures.
He talked about all the welfare measures being implemented by the Government which no other Government was doing. KCR remembered late PM PV Narsimha Rao and the financial reforms that he has implemented for the development of the country.
He mentioned the development initiatives being taken up by the Government. KCR announced that Dalit Bandhu will be implemented from 16nth at Huzurabad on a pilot basis.
It will be 10 lakh grant per family he stated. The Dalits must become self-reliant he said. He advised the people to be careful with Corona.
KCR wanted them to follow the rules and regulations in containing Corona.
