Minister Anil Yadav said that the state of AP under the dynamic leadership wants to resolve the water issue with Telangana Amicably. He said that CM Jaganmohan Reddy has suggested they resolve the issue with talks.
Anil opined that Telangana Government was doing the projects illegally and that the AP was doing everything on a legal basis. He said that the Ministers of AP can also talk in a befitting manner.
Earlier the Ministers branded from Telangana branded YSR and his son Jagan as thieves who stole the water from Telangana. Father Donga son is Gaja Donga they stated.
Now the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has decided to write a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for safeguarding the state’s interests in the water dispute with the neighbouring Telangana state.
The Cabinet which met here on Wednesday resolved that there was no question of compromise with regard to the rights of Andhra Pradesh state.
It also found fault with Telangana on its attitude in the issue, allegedly going ahead to generate hydroelectricity at Srisailam although the water had not reached the minimum drawing level in the reservoir.
