The TTD has approved the construction of 500 Sri Venkateshwara temples in SC/ ST/ BC and fishermen colonies as part of Hindu dharma Pracharam.
TTD Chairman SV Subbareddy said that the common man will get the top priority for Darshan in the Temple and that was the reason L1 system has been stopped.
He said that every temple will be given a cow for worship by the pilgrims. So far 100 temples were given the cow for worship. The free meal scheme will also be revived on the Temple at the earliest for the pilgrim’s convenience.
Many devotees come for lunch and dinner and they take it as prasadam with all Bhakti.
Due to the Covid pandemic, the TTD could not implement the board decided to revive Kalyanamastu free mass wedding to poor families launched earlier by the former CM of AP Late Sri YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
But all the programs will be revived and implemented once things turn to normalcy said the TTD chief.
The Chairman said during the last 18 months of Covid first and second waves, TTD had launched several programs for the well-being of people.
TTD launched several spiritual programs like Sundarakanda, Bhagavat Gita, Virat Parva Parayanams and various other spiritual programmes giving live telecast through SVBC seeking Sri Venkateswara Swamy blessings to get relief to the entire humanity from the pandemic of Covid.
The board meeting held today also deliberated on providing Srivari Darshan to more devotees in adherence to Covid guidelines, he said.
